ECR International Platinum Symposium 2022
The first International Platinum Symposium focussed specifically on early-career researchers (Postdoc, PhD, MSc, and keen BScs is being held virtually over the first three Thursdays (5th, 12th, and 19th) in May 2022, with workshops available around these dates.
Abstract submission and registration will be available via the MagSul website (https://magsul.laurentian.ca/) in early November.
Currently, we have a number of great postdoctoral keynote speakers confirmed (Yao Zhuosen China University of Geoscience, Daryl Blanks University of Leicester, Eduardo Mansur Norges geologiske undersøkelse, Reza Maghdour-Mashhour University of the Witwatersrand, and Jordan Lindsay Camborne School of Mines) as well as several short-courses and workshops in the making (Mineral Prospectivity Mapping in QGIS, Showcasing the Magma Chamber Simulator, Introduction to MicroMine, Multiple sulphur isotopic analysis in magmatic ore systems).
